Why do I need a home inspection?
A professional home inspection offers a peace of mind and understanding of any potential issues with a home and the need for any future or immediate repairs.
What all is inspected?
The critical systems of a home are inspected. These include heating and cooling (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, and other systems and appliances. The inspector checks for leaks, exposed wires, uneven airflow throughout the house, structural issues, and more.
How long is a home inspection?
On average, a thorough home inspection takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Larger homes will require more time, because there is more to inspect.
Will I receive a copy of the report?
Yes! The home inspection report will be digitally created on-site during the inspection. Chris will go through the report with you following the inspection and discuss any findings. Following the inspection Chris will email you a copy of the report.
Do I need to be there during the inspection?
You are not required to be there during the inspection. While our reports are very thorough and detailed, we highly recommend you be present so that the we can talk you any findings and to help answer any questions you may have. We believe you will get the most benefit from the inspection and report by being present during the inspection.
